E. B. Mann was a writer of western fiction and a well known advocate for hunting and the gun industry. He wrote over twenty novels and books including such titles as “The Man from Texas,” “Stampede,” and “Shooting Melody.” He was editor of the American Rifleman for the National Rifle Association from 1943 to 1945. From 1948 to 1956 he was Director of the New Mexico Press. He left to become editor for Guns magazine. His column for Guns, titled “The Mann Says,” was a major source of pro-gun sentim...
